Mothers

Mothers are a special breed, with characters all their own.

Unmatched by any other; by their love they are known.

They protect their children, like a mother hen and her chicks.

As all our 'boo-boos', only a mother's kiss can fix.

Remember mothers, on this their special day of awards.

As you sing of their love, with your heart string's chords.

Give mothers their due, with gifts and hugs sincere.

For they are held in esteem, as they give their lives so dear.
